Why unions are demanding more holiday entitlements for workers

Unions are asking the Albanese government to grant workers an extra week of paid annual leave, 50 years after Australians were first granted four weeks.

“In Europe, the majority of countries there have around five weeks as a standard,” Sally McManus told Ross and Russ.

“They’re very productive, they do very well and it’s because their workers are better rested.”
