Why work experience while studying improves your chances of getting a job

A new report has found those who work while studying are more likely to find employment.
Professor Lucas Walsh, Director of the Monash Centre for Youth Policy and Education Practice, said it often proved crucial in securing a job.
“The data says that doing work while studying improves your chances of getting work by the age of 25,” he said.
And getting experience in a relevant field to what you’re studying only further increases those odds.
