Why you can expect the cost of fruit and vegetables to soar again

The cost of fruit and vegetables is expected to soar over the next six months in the aftermath of major flooding across Australia.

Emma Germano, president of the Victorian Farmers Federation, told Ross and Russel it was just the latest blow for farmers on the climate front.

“The weather has been pretty horrific for growing anything,” she said.
