‘Wild, wild west’: Taxi drivers put on notice as Australian Open gets underway
Taxi drivers have been put on notice outside of Melbourne Park, with fines of up to $4,000 for any drivers caught price gouging customers leaving the tennis.
Former Transport Matters Party MP and transport advocate, Rod Barton, told Tony Moclair “it’s like the wild, wild west out there”.
And he thinks the state government “only have themselves to blame”.
