Despite not playing a match of football on the weekend, Travis Cloke is expected to make a return for Collingwood on Sunday.

Injuries to Darcy Moore, Taylor Adams, Alex Fasolo and Alan Toovey means the match committee is almost certain to bring the key forward into consideration.

Speaking with 3AW Football after the Magpies loss to the Western Bulldogs, Scott Pendlebury said he thinks the injury to Moore in particular will ‘open the door’ for Cloke.

Matthew Lloyd also believes it’s time to bring him back into the senior side.

‘If he doesn’t play this week, he will never play for Collingwood I wouldn’t have thought,’ said Lloyd.

3AW Sports Today host Gerard Healy agree’s with Lloyd that Cloke should be selected.

‘I think it’s probably time,’ Healy said.

Collingwood will play Port Adelaide on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.

Due to a bye for Collingwood’s VFL team, Cloke has not played since Saturday, May 21.

He kicked 4 goals that day against Williamstown in a narrow win.
