Will Cloke’s frustration continue?

When Travis Cloke kicked the first goal of the match on Friday night against Fremantle, every Collingwood player gave him a pat on the back.

It was just his second match since round four and he finished with 7 marks and two goals, both equal to his best this season.

Young forward Darcy Moore is expected to make his return to the side from a shoulder injury this week, which Matthew Lloyd believes will once again see him out of the senior team.

‘I’ve been one that feels he’s been hard done by in the past,’ Lloyd said.

‘Cox gets a game before him, I think Jesse White’s form has held up okay better this year and Darcy Moore is the future.’

As he battles for senior selection, it seems more likely than not that he will try to find another club at the end of the season.

‘He’s just got to fight and scrap as hard as he can at VFL and AFL level for someone else to look at him,’ Lloyd said on Sports Today.

Brownlow medallist Gerard Healy believes another club will look to list Cloke, despite no side publicly declaring their interest yet.

‘I think someone will give him another chance,’ Healy said.

‘I don’t think anyone will pay big dollars, they will bring it right down.’
