Article image for Will humans ever be able to live on Mars?

‘If we put our minds to it, we could be there in 10 years.’

Jon Clarke, the President of the Mars Society of Australia spoke with Darren James about how much longer until we can live on Mars.

He works on a project called Mars 160, which will simulate the challenges of living on Mars.

He explained, a lot of the challenges are very similar to those facing our listeners who want to set up a home on earth would be, ‘power, water, climate control, keeping it clean and how to get the maximum out of a small space.’
