Without A Fight wins 2023 Melbourne Cup

Without A Fight has taken out the 2023 Melbourne Cup in front of a packed crowd at Flemington.

The Mark Zahra-ridden horse streaked away to win the the 163rd edition of the race that stops a nation, ahead of Soulcombe and Sheraz.

It’s the first time since 2001 that a horse has won both the Melbourne Cup and Caulfield Cup in the same year.
