Witness describes shocking account of e-scooter incident outside MCG on Friday night

A witness has described the shocking scene which unfolded outside the MCG following Friday night’s blockbuster between Collingwood and Carlton.

An elderly Pies was hospitalised after allegedly being hit with an e-scooter after the game, prompting other fans to help track down the offender.

“He pushed this elderly lady down (with the scooter),” Natalie said on 3AW Drive.

“She was screaming out for medics and asking for help.”

Ken, who is the son of the 80-year-old victim, said his mother was hoping to be discharged before the end of the week.

“It’s an intentional incident and with police,” he said on 3AW.
