Witness provides insight on Arj Barker removing audience member from show

A comedian who was in the audience when Arj Barker removed an audience member over her child, has spoken out on what she witnessed.

Ellen Mahoney says the baby was not loudly crying, or disruptive, and the American comedian had included the baby in some of his jokes.

“As he delivered a punchline, the baby had made a sound, and it was at this point … he turned to the mother and said ‘Will you take the baby outside’,” she told Jacqui Felgate.

She also says the main issue came once some of the crowd begin swearing at the mother.

“What is he doing as a performer in this space of 30 years, just letting this happen?” she said.
