Witnesses give terrifying accounts of horror in Melbourne’s CBD

Witnesses have given truly terrifying accounts of what happened in the CBD on Friday.

Three people have been killed after a car plowed through the Bourke Street mall.

American tourist Michelle Fleming told Tom Elliott she witnessed police attending to a child.

‘The baby was very hurt, we did see them try and put the baby in a police car after a while and get it out of the area,’ she said.

The Lord Mayor said all of Melbourne was hurting.

‘I feel empty,’ he told Tom Elliott.
