A young woman has suffered serious injuries amid a horrifying car-jacking in a violent spree across Melbourne’s south-east last night.

The chaos began in a Seaford car park about 7.30pm when four people in a stolen Nissan X-Trail rammed three parked vehicles and two police cars.

A woman, 35, was arrested at the scene but three men sped off.

The police chase was terminated due to safety fears.

But, soon after, the car was involved in a crash on the Frankston-Cranbourne Road.

It was here that the men bashed an 18-year-old woman and dragged her from her Renault convertible.

They then stole her car, which was later found dumped in Frankston.

Louie witnessed that incident and told Neil Mitchell he couldn’t believe what he’d seen.

“I pulled up just before the lights and saw the cars stacked up, so I got out to see if everyone was fine and the next thing I see these kids that were bleeding trying to hijack another car,” he said.

He then decided to chase the offenders.

Police are still looking for the men.

One of the men involved is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance and was wearing a white baseball cap and black T-shirt.

Another male involved is believed to have a tattoo on his neck.

All involved are believed to have sustained injuries during the incidents and as a result are expected to have visible wounds.

The 35-year-old Seaford woman is expected to be charged on summons with theft of motor vehicle.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
