Woman blasts airline for ‘no compassion’ over Israel flights

A woman who is booked to fly from Melbourne to Israel tomorrow says Etihad Airways is refusing to refund or exchange her tickets despite the unrest in the region.

Rachel paid $5000 for two return tickets for her and her son to visit family in Israel.

With the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade now advising travellers to “reconsider your need to travel”, she said the airline has shown “no compassion and no understanding”.
