Woman dead and man fighting for life after suspected dispute in Melbourne’s west

A woman is dead and a man fighting for life following a suspected domestic dispute in Hoppers Crossing.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance at a house on Grevillea Crescent shortly after 1pm on Thursday.

Inside the home they found an unresponsive woman, who died at the scene.

Police arrested a man in his 50s who was acting erratically. He’s now in a critical condition in hospital and is under police guard.
