Woman dies after alleged stabbing at St Albans home

A woman has died after an alleged stabbing in St Albans.

Police responded to reports that a female had been allegedly stabbed at a property on Main Road East just before 12.30am.

The woman died on the way to hospital.

She is yet to be formally identified.

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating.
