Woman dies after being struck by bus in Croydon
A 61-year-old woman has died in hospital after being struck by a bus while crossing the road at a zebra crossing in Croydon.
Police have been told the Kilsyth woman was crossing at the Croydon Railway Station when she was hit by the bus at about 6.10am.
The male driver of the bus stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
No one else was injured during the incident.
Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are investigating.
