Woman finds armed police officers in her backyard executing a warrant on her neighbour
A woman in Melbourne’s south east has gone into her backyard to find armed police scaling the fence in a dramatic arrest attempt.
Angela told Tom Elliott she saw multiple police cars in her Clyde street and heard a commotion at her back door, she went outside to find four armed officers in her backyard.
“I was greeted by an armed guard in camouflage telling me to get back inside my house,” she said.
“There was guns pointed at the house at the back.
“I saw a guy try to jump the fence.
“He ended up being caught by the dogs (squad) pretty badly.”

Angela said she was “pretty shaken up”.
“I didn’t quite know what to think,” she said.
Victoria Police say Armed Crime Squad detectives arrested a man following an alleged non-fatal shooting that occurred on November 14.
A 22-year-old Cranbourne man was arrested in Clyde and is currently assisting police with their enquiries. Investigators believe the parties are known to each other.
The investigation is ongoing.
