Woman finds cockroach in loaf of bread

A Deer Park woman was shocked to find a cockroach inside a loaf of bread.

Neil Mitchell has heard from a listener who made the disgusting discovery while making school lunches.

Jodie Parker said the local store refunded the bread and gave her a free loaf, but offered no explanation as to how the bug got in there.

‘I said you probably need to get in touch with the people who bake your bread in case they need to do a fumigation,’ Ms Parker said.
