Woman killed and man critically injured in horror Lara crash

A woman has died and a man has been critically injured following a single car crash at Lara.

Police arrived to find a vehicle had crashed and rolled at the intersection of Windermere, Mill and McIntyre roads at about 1.10am.

The woman was found dead in the vehicle while the man has been taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are at the scene.

There have been 99 deaths on Victoria’s roads so far this year, compared to 87 at the same time last year.
