Woman killed suspected Mildura hit-run

A woman has died in a suspected hit-run at Mildura overnight.

The pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of San Mateo Avenue and Kalimna Drive in Mildura about 11pm.

The driver failed to stop to help.

Paramedics and CFA crews treated the woman but died at the scene.

She is yet to be formally identified.

Police Major Collisions detectives have been called to investigate.

The circumstances of the crash are unclear, and police have not yet released any description of the vehicle involved.
