Woman’s body found on Esplanade, Altona

A woman has been found dead on a road next to Altona beach.

The unidentified body was found by a passer-by on the Esplanade just before 9am on Monday morning.

Police have since confirmed they’re treating the death with suspicion.

They’ve been unable to identify the body because it is so badly burned.?
