Woman snatches tennis ball signed by Roger Federer from toddler

An adult has snatched a tennis ball signed by Roger Federer from the hands of a child, according to one caller to 3AW Drive.

Danielle told Tom Elliott she was on a train with a family who had just been to the Federer vs Fucsovics match, when the shocked mother of the family told her what happened.

“She said a stranger grabbed it out of the hands of her child and ran off,” Danielle said.

“Federer had personally handed the ball to her daughter.”

The mother said as her daughter is only two-years-old, the child didn’t know what had happened, but that she was disgusted by the woman’s behaviour.
