Woman struck by car in hit run incident at Dandenong

A woman has been struck and left lying on the road following an altercation in Dandenong.

Police have been told a white Toyota Hiace van and a Toyota Camry were parked near the intersection of Alsace Street and Alexander Avenue about 10pm on Tuesday night.

There was some sort of disagreement between a 37-year-old woman and two men on the street.

It’s believed the two men got back into the van and drove off, but as they did so, they struck the woman and did not stop.

The woman suffered serious injuries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
