Woman suffers back burns in Broadmeadows house fire

A woman has suffered burns to her back and several others have been assessed after a house fire at Broadmeadows.

Fire crews were called to the scene on Dimbola Road shortly after 7am on Friday.

Flames could be seen coming from the windows of the single-storey brick home.

The woman, believed to be aged in her 20s, is expected to be taken to hospital in a stable condition.
