Woman taken to hospital after being shot in the arm at Sunshine

A woman has been stuck by a bullet during a shooting at Sunshine.

Witnesses say a number of shots were fired in a reserve at about 4.45pm on Monday.

It’s understood the woman in her 60s was looking over the fence of her McIntosh Street home, when she was shot in the arm.

Police are searching the area to determine whether the shooting was intentional.

The woman has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
