Woman taken to hospital after being struck by police car at Epping

A 32-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after being knocked down by a police van in Epping.

The woman, who’s visiting Melbourne from overseas, stepped from the footpath near the corner of Dalton and Childs roads around 12.30.

She’s suffered minor injuries.

A police internal investigation is underway.
