Courtnie’s friend Ashlee — who is a nursing student — delivered baby Aladia a short time later.
She says hospital staff were “quite rude” when Courtnie returned with her newborn.
“After my husband rang up and spoke to you guys one of the staff members actually went into Courtnie’s room and confronted her about who contacted you,” Ashlee told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Tom Elliott.
3AW contacted Grampians Health for comment and was told “Grampians Health respects the privacy of our patients and is unable to provide details or comment on individual cases”.
