A woman has watched as a six-tonne furniture truck outside her house was stolen and a delivery man forced to jump from the moving vehicle.
Samantha Rasmussen told Neil Mitchell she was getting a delivery from Nick Scali to her Highton home, near Geelong, on Monday morning.
“The back was open, he was inside tying up the other furniture delivery that was in there,” she said.
“A gray Hilux came roaring up the hill, pulled in front of the truck, passenger jumped out, jumped into the driver’s side of the Nick Scali truck.
“The person who was in the back, he didn’t know what was going on, he jumped out.
“We couldn’t believe our eyes.”

“The truck was taken up to a more country area and dumped,” Samantha said.
“They took the wallets and keys.”
Victoria Police confirmed they are investigating the truck theft in Thoroughbred Drive, just after 10.40am on July 30.
They say a man got out of a dark coloured ute and entered the driver’s cab of the white Isuzu truck and fled with the vehicle.
Detectives from the Geelong High Volume Crime Unit are investigating the incident, anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
