WORD ON THE STEET: Cannonball handed in to Croydon Police Station
A cannonball believed to be 150-years-old has been handed in to a police station in Melbourne’s outer-east.
Members from the Australian Defence Force were called to Croydon Police Station after the unexploded device was handed in.
The Word on the Street tip-off was later confirmed by Victoria Police.
The station was evacuated as a precaution.
