Word on the Street: Man left in critical condition after bus and ute collide in the state’s north

A bus and ute have collided in Gunbower, near Echuca in the state’s north.

The CFA and paramedics have confirmed they’re on the scene.

Five people on the bus have been assessed by paramedics and are fine, while the ute driver, who’s in his 20s, is in a critical condition and being flown to Melbourne via air ambulance.

He’s suffered arm, leg and head injuries.
