Word on the Street: New hybrid fruit to hit the supermarket tomorrow

A new hybrid fruit will be available tomorrow according to a Word on the Street caller.

The papple has the appearance of an apple, but the juiciness and sweetness of a pear.

“Coming to you tomorrow, it’s a new food,” 3AW Drive caller Andrew said.

“As of tomorrow from your fresh food people, crunchy like an apple, sweet like a pear.

“It’s actually really nice!”
