WORD ON THE STREET: Trent’s ute was stolen and he feels helpless trying to get it back

Trents Toyota Hilux was stolen last week from his bicycle shop at St Kilda.

His distinctive vehicle had A-Team written on the back and sides and the number plate ‘BIKE’.

Trent phoned into 3AW Drive as a Word On The Street caller to report the incident. 

The ute was spotted in Campbellfield the next day by a stranger after a photograph was posted on facebook.

The thieves have stripped the signage from the sides of the car, but it’s still showing on the back window. 

Trent then got onto the police, who says they couldn’t help.
