FIRST on 3AW DRIVE
The Calder Freeway could be completely blocked city-bound through Wednesday morning’s peak hour traffic after a truck’s spectacular crash over the major road this afternoon.
The truck’s trailer was left dangling over the freeway after dropping its load on Green Gully Road.

Paramedics assessed a man at the scene who was conscious and breathing.
VicRoads earlier urged motorists to exit the freeway at Kings Road and take the Melton Highway instead.
The delicate recovery and clean-up has begun, and is expected to take several hours into the night.
VicRoads has warned peak hour traffic may be affected.
“It is possible crews may not finish in time for the morning peak,” a VicRaods tweet read.
“If you normally use the Calder, plan for delays. Try the Melton Hwy, or Sunbury Rd and the Tullamarine Fwy.”
