Worker falls through awning at Her Majesty’s Theatre

A worker has suffered arm and back injuries after falling through an awning at Her Majesty’s Theatre.

3AW Breakfast was told paramedics were on scene assisting the injured worker on the corner of Little Bourke and Exhibition streets just after 8am on Wednesday.

The worker fell around four metres.

He said suffered arm and back injuries and was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition.

WorkSafe has inspected the scene.
