Worker trapped as container forklift flips at West Melbourne

High-angle rescue workers have freed a man trapped inside the cabin of a large forklift which toppled at West Melbourne.

It flipped while the driver was moving a shipping container on Dock Link Road.

It was a delicate operation because the driver is believed to have suffered spinal injuries.

Tom Elliott spoke with the MFB about the incident on Thursday.
