Working with children checks not required at one emergency service

Working with children checks have been a massive talking point after the devastating news of several alleged sexual assaults at a number of childcare centres.

On Friday’s edition of the Rumour File, one emergency service in Victoria doesn’t require their staff to have working with children checks, despite the workers doing community education in schools, work school visits and dealing with children during emergencies.
