WorkSafe Victoria details its investigation into Hawthorn

WorkSafe Victoria says it has a number of avenues to help gather evidence in its investigation into the Hawthorn Football Club, but hopes those who’ve made serious allegations against former senior officials of the club will “get on board” regardless.

“We really want to get people on board, to trust us, we are independent,” Dr Narelle Beer, Executive Director of Health and Safety at WorkSafe Victoria, said.

“We want to make sure the workplace is safe – I think most people want to do that.

“I would hope people would want to come forward and put their hand up and speak to us.”
