Ross and Russ

Australian scientists have developed a new technology which could provide new hope to those trying to get pregnant via IVF.

The technology uses a 3D filter to identify and isolate quality sperm in less than 15 minutes. It’s estimated the technology increases the quality of samples by 65 per cent.

Senior lecturer in mechanical engineering at Monash University, Dr Reza Nosrati, says “it’s kind of like if you have a handsome good looking sperm which is quick it’s also smarter”.
