A contact centre for Australian airline Qantas has been the target of a cyber attack, leading to a breach of six million customer records.

Qantas expects a “significant” proportion of the data has been stolen, which includes names, contact details, birth dates and Frequent Flyer numbers.

Tech Guide editor Stephen Fenech told Tony Moclair he recommends all Qantas customers check their information.
