‘Worst they’ve seen’: Insight into the conditions of public housing

Melbourne’s public housing towers are currently in the ‘worst condition’ they’ve been in for years.

Richard Barker, filling in for Sly, said his sources who work in the public housing space claim there is a massive squeeze on maintenance spending.

“It’s the worst they’ve seen in years by a country mile… due to cost savings ahead of the election” he said on 3AW Breakfast.
