Apparently, they’re ‘very, very tasty.’

There’s a growing push for possums to be culled in over-populated areas and for their meat to be used for consumption.

It’s already happening in Tasmania.

‘We like the little backstraps in the fry pan,’ Richard Clarke, from Bruny Island Game Meats, told Neil Mitchell.

‘They’re very, very tasty.’
