‘You are an idiot’: Tom Elliott clashes with caller over Palestinian support for October 7 attack

Tom Elliott has clashed with a caller over a poll which suggests a large majority of people living in Gaza and the West Bank support Hamas’ October 7 attack in Israel.

The Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research poll from March suggests 71 per cent of people living in the Palestinian territory believed Hamas was right to attack Israel.

The data prompted caller Joe to ring in to 3AW and Tom Elliott didn’t hold back in response.

“You are a idiot Joe,” Tom said on 3AW Mornings.

“It’s the poll that’s saying there’s a lot of support for Hamas in Gaza and the West Bank.”
