You could soon be paying an extra $10 to catch a cab.

A new taxi booking fee proposal has been drafted by the Essential Services Commission, where drivers will have the ability to charge passengers a fee up to $10 during peak periods.

‘We support the principle of it,’ David Samuel, CEO of the Victorian Taxi Association told Neil Mitchell.
