Young Aussie actress Angourie Rice visits the Weekend Break

Article image for Young Aussie actress Angourie Rice visits the Weekend Break

Fresh from filming the Hollywood film The Nice Guys with Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling and the Australian features Jasper Jones and Nowhere Boys, actress Angourie Rice dropped by the 3AW studio to chat with Grubby & Dee Dee and 3AW movie guy Jim Schembri about her blossoming career.

Having just turned 15, Angourie talks about school and friends, fame and free food, old films and ’70s fashion, shoots Grubby her patented ‘death stare’ – be warned; it’s scary – and explains how she came to master the American accent well enough to win a starring role opposite two A-listers.
