Young couple use baseball bat to fight of thugs in latest home invasion
A traumatised couple say they don’t feel safe in their own western suburbs home after a terrifying home invasion.
The young couple was woken by four young men wearing masks, hoodies and gloves who smashed their way into their house at Kings Park, near St Albans, on Friday night.
Leah Muir has told Neil Mitchell her partner Gavin used a baseball bat to defend themselves.
But was unable to stop the youths from stealing their two cars.
“We’re completely shaken, beside ourselves, traumatised,” she said.
“We’re fine during the time but during the night I’m having a very hard time.”
