Young girl concerned by gambling commercials writes to Daniel Andrews

A 10-year-old girl concerned about gambling adverting has written a letter to the Premier urging Daniel Andrews to only have gambling ads on TV late at night.

Portarlington school girl Mikayla Krivohlavek told Neil Mitchell she easily opened a betting account by faking her birth date, but using her real name and parent’s credit card details.

She said she decided to take action after noticing too many gambling ads were on while she was watching TV.

“I got really annoyed,” she said.

“I really didn’t like it.”
