Young girl who fled Ukraine to Melbourne shares her story with Ross and Russel

An eight-year-old who fled to Melbourne from Kyiv due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine says she “loves” Australia.

It has been a year since Russia began its war on Ukraine.

Leza told 3AW Breakfast she “really loved Australia” and since been appointed class captain at school in Melbourne.
