Young man killed in Gippsland ute tragedy
A young man has died after falling off a ute near Warragul.
Five people aged in their late teens and early twenties are believed to have been skylarking at Darnum when the tragedy occurred.
Police said one was believed to have been travelling on the bonnet, two in the tray and another two in the cabin of the ute on Silbys Road just after 10pm on Wednesday night.
A 21-year-old Drouin man fell from the vehicle.
He was flown to hospital in a critical condition but has since died.
A 20-year-old Darnum woman was interviewed by police and has been released without charge pending further investigation.
