Young woman amid shaken victims of CBD crime spree

A young woman has been left shaken after thieves broke into her city apartment while she was in the bathroom.

The woman, 22, was in the bathroom of her Katherine Place apartment when she heard the thieves break in via the balcony about 11pm.

There was no confrontation but the offenders fled with a number of items from the apartment.

Investigators believe the same offenders were involved in a number of attempted robberies in nearby Batman Park a short time later.

They suspect the offenders leaped from one balcony to another to gain access.

Police chased down and arrested two teenagers, aged 17 and 18, as well as a Deer Park man, 30,

They’re calling on witnesses and other potential victims to come forward.
