Young woman fights for life following gaming room stabbing

A 25-year-old woman is fighting for life after she was stabbed in the gaming room of a St Albans hotel.

A 28-year-old man was also stabbed in the attack, which happened just after 11.15pm on Monday night.

He suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

A 30-year-old is in custody.

Police said it was believed he was known to the victims.
